Life before Connect it

SOLEA is reinventing the commercial cleaning industry by focusing on trust, employee autonomy, and social and technological innovation. Operating across Quebec, the company employs over a hundred cleaning staff who work alongside a team of coordinators.

Historically, SOLEA relied on an accounting technician to manually copy payroll information from one system to another. Every two weeks, she had to copy schedule information from Agendrix to Employeur D one by one, extract details into Excel, copy payroll cost totals, match resource names with Zoho Books projects, run a macro to generate journal entries and cost-per-project totals, then import everything into Zoho Books.

This entire process took over 8 hours every 2 weeks. Upon closer inspection, manual entry errors represented thousands of dollars in overpaid employee salaries.

The application significantly reduces the accounting technician's workload. By generating a file that can be imported directly into Employeur D, all manual data entry is eliminated along with 99% of errors. The technician now focuses on validation rather than data entry.

The synchronization between Zoho Books projects and Agendrix resources eliminates data entry errors from manual matching. Projects and resources are now perfectly synchronized.

Since all data is centralized, it can now be used to create dashboards and data visualizations such as project profitability. Another win for business intelligence!
